2026年7月23日（木）から8月3日（月）まで、gallery fumotoにて調香師・沙里による展覧会「Field Notes − 香景」を開催いたします。軽井沢の自然に寄り添いながら創り出された香りの作品を、特別にご体感いただける展覧会です。

gallery fumotoでは2回目の開催となる本展では、香りのインスタレーションをはじめ、前回の企画展で発表された「麓にて」や、これまで紡いできた香りの軌跡を、装いを新たにご紹介いたします。

軽井沢の夏の風景とともに、植物の息づかい、季節の移ろい、そして土地に刻まれた記憶を感じながら、香りが紡ぐひとときをお過ごしください。

From Thursday, July 23, 2026 to Monday, August 3, 2026, gallery fumoto will present the exhibition “Field Notes – Kōkei” by perfumer Sari.

This exhibition offers a special opportunity to experience fragrant works created in harmony with the natural environment of Karuizawa.

This will be the second exhibition by Sari held at gallery fumoto. The exhibition will feature scent installations, as well as “At the Foot of the Mountain,” previously presented in the last exhibition, along with the journey of fragrances she has created over the years, introduced in a renewed presentation.

Together with the summer landscape of Karuizawa, we invite you to spend a moment immersed in scents that evoke the breath of plants, the changing seasons, and the memories woven into the land.

[ About the Artist ]

沙里・蕊 SUI scent studio｜調香師

日本の香道と世界の香文化を基盤に、「匂い」という現象の神秘を創作の核とし、国内外の香水・化粧品・お香・お茶等の調香を担当している。2023年、長野に〈蕊〉を構え、植物や鉱物の採集・抽出を起点に、建築、音楽、写真、詩、料理など多様な感覚領域との表現や香会を通じて、“香り” を問い続けている。

Sari・Sui Scent Studio | Perfumer

Drawing upon Japanese incense ceremony and global fragrance cultures, she takes the mystery of the phenomenon of “scent” as the core of her creative practice, creating fragrances for perfumes, cosmetics, incense, tea, and other products both in Japan and abroad.

In 2023, she established “蕊 (Zui)” in Nagano. Beginning with the collection and extraction of plants and minerals, she continues to explore the essence of fragrance through expressions and gatherings that engage multiple sensory fields, including architecture, music, photography, poetry, and cuisine.
