【KAMAKURA meet】YARN HOME POP UP STORE開催のお知らせ

2026年7月10日(金)から7月20日(月)まで広島を拠点としたホームファブリックブランド「YARN HOME」 POP UP SHOP を開催いたします。

「YARN HOME」は、“糸からはじまる暮らし”をテーマに、日常に静かな豊かさをもたらすホームテキスタイルブランドです。日本各地に根づくものづくりの技術や、長く受け継がれてきた職人の知恵に向き合いながら、素材の持つ力を丁寧に引き出し、暮らしの中で心地よく寄り添う布づくりを続けています。

今回のPOP UP SHOPでは、福岡県・うきは市で生まれた生地「pasima（パシーマ）」を用いたシリーズ『UKIHA』を中心にご紹介いたします。

医療用脱脂綿をガーゼで挟み、キルトを施したこの素材は、余分な加工を一切加えず、優れた吸水性と速乾性を備えています。洗うたびにふくらみ、やわらかさを増しながら、使い手の暮らしに自然と馴染んでいくことが大きな特徴です。

自然の風景から着想を得たというカラーは、穏やかな光や空気感をそのまま布に落とし込んだような佇まいを持ちます。

肌に触れた瞬間に感じるやさしさや、軽やかで清潔な使い心地は、日々の暮らしの中に小さな安心感と快適さをもたらしてくれるでしょう。

初夏の鎌倉、やわらかな光と海風の中で、実際に素材に触れながら時間とともに育っていく質感をご体感くださいませ。

From Friday, July 10, 2026 to Monday, July 20, 2026, we will be hosting a POP UP SHOP by Hiroshima-based home textile brand “YARN HOME.”

z“YARN HOME” is a home textile brand themed around “a lifestyle that begins with thread,” creating quiet richness in everyday life. While engaging with Japan’s long-standing craftsmanship and regional techniques passed down through generations, the brand carefully draws out the inherent qualities of materials, producing textiles that gently accompany daily living.

For this POP UP SHOP, we will primarily present the “UKIHA” series, made using the fabric “pasima,” originally developed in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

This material is made by sandwiching medical-grade absorbent cotton between gauze and quilting it. With no unnecessary processing, it offers excellent absorbency and quick-drying properties. It becomes fluffier and softer with each wash, gradually adapting to the user’s lifestyle—one of its defining characteristics.

The colors, inspired by natural landscapes, have a presence that feels as though the gentle light and atmosphere of nature have been directly woven into the fabric.

The softness felt upon touching the skin, along with its light and clean usability, brings a sense of comfort and ease to everyday life.

We invite you to visit Kamakura in early summer, where soft light and ocean breeze fill the air, and experience the evolving texture of these materials firsthand as they age and soften over time.
